I don't see the Giants getting either Snell (a/k/a Barry Zwho supposedly wants $200 mms.+) or Imanaga. Both are on the wrong side of 30. Snell has pitched more than 130 innings just twice in the last eight years and led the league in walks last year. Imanaga's profile (short, no real speed, gives up a lot of HRs) is more of a #4 or #5 starter and the Giants have enough of those.

Snell's free agency might...last a while. The Giants, Red Sox, Mets, Yankees and Phillies need starting pitching but don't want to pay $200 mms. for an iffy, older arm.
