I think the Giants would like at least one top-level starting pitcher. Two weeks ago, Farhan said that the trade market for front line starting pitching had cooled considerably -- in other words, those teams want too much. So I'd be surprised if the Giants traded for a top starter, and I don't think they'll trade for an above-average starter. I think it's Snell or Imanaga. Maybe both.

As for Bellinger, the Giants already have their CF in Lee. Bellinger has played 1B -- a lot -- for the Cubs. He didn't hit well as a 1B. He crushed it as a DH (in limited DH appearances), but had a 1.000+ OPS at DH, .928 as CF, just .777 as 1B. He didn't hit in Oracle last year, but historically had not hit very well there. Matt Chapman, on the other hand, hits .264 at Oracle (versus .240 career) and .813 OPS at Oracle (versus .790 career).
