I think UCLA has great guard play and a solid center, but they are lacking in the SF and PF spots, well at least for a team that has it's eyes on a National Championship. Jones, Rice and Osborne are solid perimeter players, but I'm not sure any of them have that killer instinct, perhaps Osborne. Rice has been steady, but definitely has flaws in her shooting and finishing. Jones, while she had a great game last night, if you watched her against Ohio State, she was awful - horrible shot selection in that at key moments too. Betts is a total difference maker, but if she gets in foul trouble, there isn't much there in the way of post play. Both Jones and Osborne are undersized for their positions at 5'5 an 5'9.
What I am saying, is I am pulling for them to go as deep as they can, but with such a balanced crew and outside of Betts, no real imposing mismatches against top teams, it wouldn't shock me if they were upset prone in the tournament.
