FYI: Like many words, "abortion" has multiple meanings. The one I use:
"an object or undertaking regarded by the speaker as unpleasant or badly made or carried out."
In this case, I am the "speaker" and used "abortion" as shorthand for what I regarded as ham handed bungling of last year's free agency efforts.
