Attitudinally speaking, I really liked Dubon, who had committed to the Giants early on and was a Giants fan.
He was consistent in 2019 and 2020, with BA's in the mid to high .270s and OPS in the low to mid .700s. His OPS+ was 100 and 98 those two years. Fine for a second baseman.
But in 2021, he dipped to .240/.278/377/.655 and in 2022 he dropped to .214/.252/.313/.565. He was heading south in a hurry, and in fact, he actually did worse with Houston the rest of the year. And this year, he rebounded. He's still below average, an OPS+ of 97, and to me. It happens. Good for him. Having 492 plate appearances probably helped him. Only 70 strikeouts, not bad.
