A hospital in Gaza was bombed, with hundreds of refugees there killed. Israel says it was a Hamas missile that landed short, other sources says Israeli air strike.
I don't think the missiles Hamas usually fires make anywhere close to as big of an explosion as this was, so that theory seems a bit dubious to me. Israel really fumbling this; with their rhetoric from early on from many sources about not discriminating civilian targets from military ones, they have pretty much burned away the benefit of the doub that the US would like to give them. And then if they bomb hospitals stuffed with Palestinians who fled their homes, US support may dry up before they even launch the ground attack they have been threatening.
Palestinian leader Abbas no longer going to meet with Biden.
