Players mentioned in Tara's interview:
Cameron Brink. had a great summer playing for USA in 3 on 3; impressed with how hard she's playing, how competitive ("super competitive") she is, her passing, her scoring; [in 3x3] she really got excited about shooting that 3 and loved the space (told her she can create her own space by running the floor really hard so she's running the floor hard); she's taking 3s, has great hands, great touch; not fouling, aggressive and understands how important she is for our team to be out there; with Hannah/Talana/Elena spacing the floor you'll really get to see Cam - should be in the running for player of the year
Hannah Jump. just working hard; always first in the gym, last one to leave; up there with Cam in competitiveness
Talana Lepolo. improved, played USA basketball, shot looks really good, knocking down shots; probably more of a pass 1st point guard, but not shy
Kiki Iriafen. playing some great basketball; hitting the high post shot, shooting threes, driving it, attacking the basket
Elena Bosgana. played for her national team; never met a shot she doesn't like, pass is a four letter word for her
Brooke Demetre. has had a great summer
Chloe Clardy. having a fabulous preseason
Nunu Agara. incredibly coachable, versatile
Courtney Ogden. versatile, shoots the three
All Frosh. 3 freshmen [among others] could "step up for us"; incredibly quick learners, very mature, but still freshmen; counting on our returners to lead the way
About shooters besides Cam/Hannah: Player on top of player are really, really skilled, but we've kind of gone back to running some of our older offenses, and the ball is moving; no sticky hands
