Iriafen only averaged 12 minutes last year, splitting time with Belibi and Betts, so I think we can expect that number to go way up if she performs well.

Do folks remember that Iriafen spent last summer practicing her mid range jumper, and when she started last year--in the open practice and exhibition games--she was hitting it consistently?  Then, for some reason, we almost never saw it again during the rest of the year.

She is athletic enough to put the ball on the floor and drive to the basket.  If she can also hit mid range jumpers she will have the versatility to be a much more well-rounded threat.

But probably the biggest key for Iriafen to become more of a mainstay is rebounding.  It is hard to compare her rebounding numbers given her limited minutes last year, but Jones was our rebounding machine and someone needs to take up that slack.  In general, I agree that Jones was not always as great an asset--particularly when playing out of position--as we had come to expect, and that she actually complicated the lineup.  But folks need to keep in mind that she was our leading defensive rebounder and second leading scorer, and those things need to come from someone else this year.
