Crawford and lose. 7-3.

Tying run at the plate but GIDP with bases loaded to end it.  Meckler's K in the 9th did not look good. Totally fooled.

Meckler's flat line drive swing works great against waist high non big break pitches. Throw in a hard break or high heat and he is over matched. He may turn out to be pretty good seeing how inexperienced he is, but for now over matched too often to depend on him for the big hit, imo.

OTOH the Padre uniforms looked like a Baskin-Robbins counter.  Tutti-frutti, pistachio, and the flavor of the month.
