Awesome news, certainly would be Stanford's best option if available. If they make Stanford and cal take half shares, probably still worth it.

Agree.  A half share of Big 10 revenue is more than what Stanford will get in the PAC-12.  There will be an increase in travel expenses but still more net athletic funding with the 1/2 share of B1G money.  Try to get a deal that in a few years gives Stanford closer to a full share.

At the moment joining any other conference looks better financially than trying to make the PAC-X work.
