You don’t analyze a long term contract after a couple months.  But whatever Correa did and does, it was the right move given the circumstances.

Based on the direction he's going, I'm fairly confident that the $30mms.+ for many years in a row would have been a bad investment.

Giants are 52-41, 11 games over .500, tied for the most games over .500 when they were 44-33. They have a three game post-All Star winning streak. Lots of interesting trade possibiliities...
