Prigozhin seems to have massively miscalculated.
Russian General Sergei Surovikin, who some people had talked about as possibly taking over a top role in MOD as one of the conditions for Prigozhin calling off his coup, has now been arrested for enabling Prigizhin.
And this story says U.S. IC believes Russian Generals - like Surovikin - backed out of the coup after indicating they would support it. Kind of sounds like the reason Prigozhin called it off is because these Generals - for some reason - lacked the balls needed.
I certainly am curious what Prigozhin needed to see (specifically) to continue toward Moscow that he didn't.
Prigozhin seems f-cked. My money is now on him being handed over to Russia for prosecution. I don't think the public statements that the case against Progozhin is closed can be trusted any more than anything else Russia says.
