It’s unfortunate because any other runner would’ve been sent and probably scored in that situation but I agree with the decision to hold Moore.
Have to streongly disagree with you. Moore should have know or been told that with two outs, he should have off and running as soon as there was bat contact. Even though he's not the fastest guy, had he been hauling ass immediately, even a great throw wouldn't have gotten him.
Exactly... The lead he had from second base + running on contact, Moore should have been past third base once the Right fielder got control of the ball. It would have taken a very precise throw to get him out at the plate from a strong arm.
It was worth the risk from my vantage point. The third base coach blew it with perhaps some assistance from Moore is he hesitated on contact.
