Try the Goose

I go to the Goose pretty regularly, but the food was never as good as the O, and it still isn't :-).

Fun fact: for a few years when I was in grad school I lived in the apartment building diagonally across from the Goose. Agree about the quality of the cuisine wrt the O.

I’m sorry. I love a good ump scapegoat as much as anyone but I can’t put this loss on Blue. Texas led off the 9th with their 6, 7 and 8 hitters. Those three literally watched 18 consecutive pitches go by without even lifting the bat off their shoulders. Those guys weren’t touching Bruno.

If the ump isn’t giving you the corners, adjust and stop nibbling. Bruno’s B+ fastball middle-middle would’ve got the job done in this case.

They did that. When the only way you can get a strike is dead center in the zone, bad things happen.
