If +/- weren’t a stat, you’d look at MPJ’s 5-16 (2-11) and say he’s got to play better. But the fact is he led all Game 1 players with +20. Everyone will say Strus was 0-9 and that won’t happen again. But I will put my chips on MPJ having more upside.

Expect Jokic to score 40 in Game 2. Hard to see the Heat ever doubling him again this series unless as just a change up. But Murray and Jokic having double figure assists demonstrates just how hard it is to stop the Nuggets. Another pro Heat take will be that they shot poorly from 3. The fact is they basically shot their season avg. when all was said and done (34%) and Nuggets shot only 29%, well under their 37%. Both teams are shooting 37% in playoffs.

Good thing Nuggets built their lead to 24 by late 3rd. They do have a tendency to give up leads, but Jokic typically bails them out when they need him.
