What an abject abomination for the NBA to give a team 41 free throws in a Game 6.  The Warriors picked a bad night for their worst shooting performance of the season, but they had 103 shots to the Lakers 75. That is just an a sane number.

Wiggins clearly was bothered by his injury. 

The Splash Brothers were the Brick Brothers in the biggest moment of the season. You can’t pay Klay Thompson $43M to perform as he did in these playoffs.

Curry had 39.  Wasn’t on him.  Klay looked old.  I feel bad for him.  This series meant a lot to him.

End of an era tonight.  There will be changes.

Hard to say exactly what major changes will happen. 

Steph will be back. 
Klay will be back. No one else wants his contract. 
Dray may be gone, but if he opts out and walks we get nothing back for him and get worse. I expect he stays. 
Looney and Wiggins aren’t going anywhere. Same for GP2. 

That leaves DDV and the younguns. We’d love to have DDV back but probably can’t afford him. Will depend on his offers but with his quiet playoffs we might have a shot.  Moody or Kuminga are back unless we package them in a trade for a better vet. 

Poole is the wildcard. He had a rough year and brutal playoffs. He provides something we need in secondary shot creation but at the expense of just awful D and fouling. His salary really hurts with the tax next year but converesely his value is at a low point. I could see us holding on and hoping for the best. I could see us swapping him for another talented but disappointing player like Ayton. I could see us packaging him, picks, and maybe Kuminga or Moody to go after a major upgrade like OG or Siakam or Derozan or so on. 

I think that we can assume 2 timelines is dead. Steph is the timeline. Kuminga and Moody and maybe Poole are nice but if that is your nucleus you’re near the top of the lottery.
