Negativity would be saying that the Warriors have almost no chance going forward. I don't believe that. I think they have a pretty good chance to win the upcoming series. After that, it gets harder. Hopefully they don't have to have Curry bail them out again, because at some point he won't be able to do it. OTOH, Thompson didn't play great in the King's series, but he has "gone off" in the past and bailed them out. As long as they have those kind of players, they are "in it". Maybe one more? Odds are against it, but after this last game, it isn't impossible.

I think the Warriors have a puncher's chance. They're like a 45 year old George Foreman beating Michael Moorer to win the heavyweight championship. It can be done. I think they'll beat the Lakers (Davis, Schroeder and LeBron all have injuries, but played 28, 23, and 31 minutes in the blowout win over the Grizzlies), even though they lost three of four to the Lakers, winning only on opening night. They didn't have Curry for the home loss or the first road loss to the Lakers, and Klay and Kevon had uncharacteristically off nights (Looney only had 5 rebounds). DDV had a very poor game, and it was Curry's first game back after his injury.

Either the Nuggets or the Suns will be tougher. The Nuggets won game 1 pretty handily. Warriors were 0-3 against the Nuggets, but two of the losses were extremely close. Warriors were 1-3 against the Suns. All four games were blowouts. At least they won the last game they played against the Suns, so there's that.

Regular season matchup records mean nothing.  Warriors didn't have Wiggins much of the year and now have Payton.  Lakers, of course also very different.  Road is different in playoffs - and they still don’t have to leave Calif.

Lakers are, I think, a tough matchup with their size.  To me, key in this series for Warriors will be Wiggins.  He was ok vs Kings.  Although h3cstruggled offensively game 7.  They need a Finals version of Wiggins.  When he plays at that level, they are tough.

How good was Curry?  50 points 8 rebounds 6 assists.  With 1 turnover.  Amazing performance.
