It is totally understandable that different levels of training and different philosophies exist in the Ukrainian military, given the extreme stress of a war that started while they were in the midst of a major philosophical change in their armed forces. The recent significant training in NATO nations will help greatly, and I expect the tip of the spear will be pretty sharp. However, if Ukraine generates significant success in their next offensives, they are going to need lots of "follow on" infantry to secure the territory and immobilize any Russian forces that were bypassed (hopefully lots of these :-). This was a big problem for Germany even in WWII where their combined arms spearhead would get so far ahead of their supports that they had to pause and wait for the supports to "catch up". At a minimum, AFVs/Tanks need fuel. On a "modern" battlefield, pausing without adequate air cover can be very hazardous to your health. Let's hope Ukraine has the wherewithal to keep these less-NATOIzed forces on the move to fill the gap.
