No worries. For my part, I feel no need to ever block anyone, when I'm factually incorrect I'm happy to be enlightened. I could go through and refute your last post but I feel I'm playing a never-ending game of whack-a-mole. On to more interesting debates; I feel this Giants season is going to have a lot of ups and downs and surprise developments.
If one of those surprise developments is a dramatic step forward by the minor leaguers on whom SF is relying to produce in the majors beginning in ‘24, the season should be considered a success even if the Giants finish around .500.
The Richmond box score every day and the Sacramento box score when Harrison is on the mound will either give us hope or cause more unrest in the fan base.
I’m tapping the brakes a bit on Harrison. 21. Needs to learn how to pitch. Certainly has the stuff. Needs command. I would not be surprised nor particularly disappointed if he spent year at Sac
I am looking for steady progress which can be defined, in part, as a solid K/BB ratio. Whether that would result in a call-up later this season would depend on how the team is doing. I would guess that his chances are better if the Giants are out of the race. Regardless, I don’t want to see him in SF until he is ready. The worst thing would be to put him on the SAC-SF shuttle…..
