The Giants are averaging giving up 5.2 runs per game and scoring an average of 4.4 runs per game so far.

Today's game will change those averages substantially, 16-3 Giants in the bottom of the 9th with the Giants getting 20 hits, 16 runs, and 5 home runs for the day.  We're still in the small sample size part of the season.

They probably aren't a "great" team but I don't see a disastrous season building.

That's for sure. the Giants are #1 in HRs, #3 in OPS, T3 for most walks, 4th in OPS, T5 for runs scored. Unfortunately, #2 in strikeouts. #14 in steals, but T1 in not having been caught with zero thrown out.
