Who are the five PGA golfers to achieve the career Grand Slam? (Winning the Masters, the U. S. Open, the British Open and the PGA Championship).

Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, Gary Player for sure.  Ben Hogan & Sam Snead?  Arnold Palmer never won the PGA.  Rory McElroy would complete the career Grand Slam with a Masters victory this week.

Nicely done, Skip. You got the first four. Not Snead, he never won the U. S. Open, finishing second in 1937, 1947, 1949 and 1953.

I had guessed Nicklaus, Woods, Hogan, Tom Watson and Raymond Floyd. Like Snead, Watson and Ray Floyd each missed it by one of the majors. Ironically, each missed it in 1978…Floyd finished second in the British Open behind Jack Nicklaus, and Watson finished second in the PGA Championship behind John Mahaffey in a playoff.

One more to go...think 1920s, not Bobby Jones.
