Well, be that (China capturing Russia being bad) as it may, if you look at how the world tends to work (consolidation and rich get richer), it's kind of inevitable that China becomes a larger power by if not taking over Russia, effectively controlling it or using its resources to its liking. What's to stop China from using those same bases now?
