Ironically, today, BAAQMD is voting on a ban of (at this point, some) natural gas devices from sale (even as replacements). forcing people to replace with electric devices and bigger electric panels.  (One person pointed out that tree pollen and grass pollen also aggravate asthma.  Will BAAQMD ban trees and grass?)

I know where you were going with this, in terms of the reliability of the electrical grid.  However, sadly, in our modern day, even gas stoves have become a political fraught topic, so let's leave this out of further discussion about the water situation.

Also, I have a lot of thoughts about cell towers (and, given the way you phrased it, almost certainly agree with you), but let's keep the discussion to noting that cell service has been disrupted in many parts of the Peninsula.

Quick Add: I have started putting up these warnings not necessarily because anyone has crossed any sort of line, but because the content has a high risk of sparking an overtly political debate of the type we don't want to be having.  I am aiming to dissuade people who might have strong opinions about gas stoves from posting a follow-up that starts a political discussion on whether the stoves ought to be banned or not that would force us to lock the thread, not to chastise a particular poster for bringing it up.
