Tristin Beck pitched 2.2 innings vs the A's today. Left at that point after taking a low line drive off his ankle, maybe achilles. One hit, one walk, one strikeout. Hit 97 mph and very sharp breaking curve. Hit was a Texas leaguer, iirc.

Pretty good chance he will be up at some point this season.  At least for a cup of coffee.

I hope so. I'd like to see Slater, Beck and Piscotty all on the SFG roster at the same time. Like having the Alou brothers in the same outfield.

Conforto hit his 4th home run today. Judge still on one home run (but he's batting .462, so...). Giants had four home runs today in an 11-9 win over San Diego, including Estrada, Wynns and Schmitt. Schmitt is putting together an amazing spring, which is good because Davis and Villar have zero home runs and 10 and 8 strikeouts respectively. Crawford is 1 for 11, and is being shelved, bad knee. I have a feeling Schmitt will be on the opening day roster, at least I hope he is.

Some of the outfielders (Haniger) are hurt. Sabol, who plays catcher on TV, can also play in the outfield. He might be the fifth outfielder on the opening day roster.

And speaking of catchers, Joey Bart has one strikeout and one walk in 13 official ABs with four hits (two doubles and an HR) and an OPS of 1.049. Estrada is 4 for 18 (.222) but all four hits are for extra bases, two doubles, a triple and an HR. Piscotty hitting .333, .391 OBP, 7 hits, three doubles. Maybe/could be make the big league roster.

Pitchers: Desclafani, Hjelle, Ta. Rogers, Doval, Webb, Beck, have ERAs under 4.00. Harrison, Szapucki (neuropathy), Brebbia, Long, Wood, Cobb, Stripling all have ERAs over 6.00.
