If the U.S. Government is sounding the alarm on China considering military aid for Russia as they are, it's hard for me to believe the aid being contemplated is benign. It's not like the U.S. and allies get some sort of benefit from crying wolf here. The only reason to complain publicly about China potentially arming Russia is because it is a legitimate threat.
What exactly is the upside of the U.S. freaking out about this issue otherwise?
