There's a lot of talent in the NBA and a lot of good (not great) teams in the West. The Warriors have the talent to compete, but as the core has aged, the team no longer has overwhelming talent. Despite the reputation for raining 3s, defense was the team's calling card, and that's not nearly as true anymore. I suspect they'll be in the play-in and have a decent chance of getting to the first round. I wouldn't give them even a 50/50 chance in any round after the play-in though, not least because they suck on the road and every team they play against will have home court advantage. Absent a move at the trade deadline (and I don't think one will happen), I wouldn't give them 1/20 of getting to the Finals. As someone said above, the Lakers have a better shot of going deep into the playoffs (and the Lakers aren't a great team either). As Jim Carrey said in Dumb and Dumber though, "so you're telling me there's a chance . . . ."
