I said in a previous post that I thought Tavita had a decent chance to land a job as a QC in the NFL based on the volume of NFL coaches with Stanford connections. The issue is that those jobs are still a month away from being filled. I would venture to guess that Tavita himself would agree with those saying he needs to get experience elsewhere. Either that or he’s just gotten comfortable at Stanford.
Regardless of where his head is at, it’s undeniable that it would be best for him professionally to leave Stanford. The problem for him is that there’s probably no one at the college level who will hire him. He has almost no network at the college level. Aside from Lance Taylor, there’s almost no one at the college level who Tavita has worked with who would be in a position to hire him.
