A few years before the introduction of the "live" baseball, there were two pitchers who hit so well that they transitioned into full time hitter/fielders. Their 1918 hitting statistics (batting average, total bases, RBIs) were virtually identical. One was Babe Ruth. Who was the other? Hint: at one time, he had been a teammate of Ruth's.
