Although you present your comment as a statement of fact, it is nothing more than one person’s opinion. Heck, if things were as cut and dried as you indicate, there would be no reason to pay baseball executives the kind of money they earn.
Heck, my opinion is that Correa would be the most valuable free agent the Giants could sign. But I acknowledge that I possess no inside information to support the opinion. It is nothing more than the thoughts of a fan of the team.
Correa, Nimmo, Taillon head my shopping list. Turner is not the defensive player Correa is. Having said that if they signed Turner instead, I’m still happy. Either works.

1. He hits for average
2. He hits for power
3. He would instantly be the best athlete the Giants have
4. The defensive rule changes put a premium on speed and range that he has
5. The bigger bases will make stealing bases a bigger part of the game which he does really well
6. You take one of the best players your rival has away from them
7. No concerning injury history and body type that maintains
8. His teams win and he has lots of post season experience
9. He makes baseball entertaining for fans
10. Signing him sends a message that you want and will pay for the best baseball players available no matter what Aaron Judge does
All good points. Correa pushes many of the same buttons. Defensively he’s better. Be thrilled with either.

Corry, Jake Wong, Spencer Bivins, Chris Wright, Keaton Winn, Tristen Beck, Matos, Bishop, Pomares, Luciano, Toribio, Armani Smith, Will Wilson, Sean Roby, Logan Wyatt.
As our old friend the Remote One declared many times.... jus sayin.
Matos and Luciano to the 40 man. Take your chance with the rest……
Luciano is, of course, a lock. I’ve read Matos may not be protected as it’s quite unlikely a player that had a down year in A ball would be drafted. Personally I’m not gambling with a top prospect.
Wilson is a possibility. I do think he’d get selected. Giants paid a lot of money for him. If he’s not protected, that’s a solid miss.
