Sunak and Meloni both gave speeches yesterday in which they committed to continuity in supporting Ukraine. Even if the military aid doesn't flow as freely, the vote of support from Sunak and Meloni is significant, especially considering the doubts that many have expressed regarding their attitude toward the Russia/Ukraine conflict. Let's hope they, and their peers throughout the EU, at least stand firm on sanctions when the energy crisis hits this winter.
