This article is interesting. It says the Ukrainian pilot "destroyed five Shahed-136 drones" and also "shot down two Russian cruise missiles". The distinction is telling. Later, the Ukrainian pilot "For unspecified technical reasons, the pilot began to lose control of the aircraft,". It appears that the Ukrainians are indeed using the jet wash to destroy these Iranian drones. They are quite a bit bigger than the "quadcopter" style drones, but I imagine you can disrupt them the same way. The "unspecified technical reasons" probably were that he got too close and/or actually hit one. It damaged his jet or the jet ingested parts of it. At least he got out.
