In the aftermath of Luck's performance Sunday, there have been an abundance of fluff pieces now declaring him the best thing since sliced bread, but this article puts some analytics to Luck's performance in the "2 minute drill" situations and then compares to other top QBs during their rookie seasons.

I'm always a big perplexed watching a sporting event how one team can dominate 90% of the game, just to have the other team's star(s) exert their will during those final minutes. Like the Stanford-Syracuse game last year. Clearly Stanford was winning with pluck and determination, but in a 5 minutes at the end, Syracuse reversed 35 minutes of being outperformed. If Luck can put together a 95 passer rating in two minute drills (vs. 75 overall), why can't he create that same sense of urgency on any given drive? I guess that little bit of extra adrenaline in stressful situations makes all the difference.
