Adding to the uncertainty is the fact that we've played only one game away from the friendly confines of Stanford Stadium.  Many mediocre teams play well at home.  Cal (for instance) was 5-1 at home last year and their closest win was by 15 points.    And that wasn't even their true "home". 

I didn't think we learned much last weekend... I think ND & Cal will be far more telling of the kind of team we have.
