My only point - which I tried, but failed, to make in a humorous way - is that the Baltics should be defensible absent a nuclear war (in which case, we’re all screwed). I don’t see their membership in NATO as such a big burden anymore. Add Fin/Swe and Russia’s northwestern border is not looking so great.
