I'm not even convinced they actually have NASAMS in country. Many articles are being written based on a single line in that interview. The number of NASAMS systems was not mentioned in the interview either so we don't know if it's 0, 1, or more.

To me it's possible he meant that thanks to the US Congress, Ukraine will be getting NASAMS. His English is good but it's not perfect.
