Update, his show was still on the air until Russia pulled it in advance of the Ukraine invasion.  I guess Putin could count on Ventura to say nice things despite assissinations of rivals and meddlings in democratic elections around the world, but Putin knew the jig would be up with bombings of schools and hospitals.  Even Ventura had to draw the line somewhere.
