Giants, I had just gotten back from school and listened to every possible inning of that season. When the game went into the bottom of the ninth I had to hit the head. Radio on in the kitchen. Left the door open. As hit after hit happened I would not leave the throne. Seemed like an hour but I wouldn’t break the string. Jablonski might have gotten two hits in the ninth.

Then Don Taussig popped out. What an inning.
