Break up the other black and orange team, the Orioles! They now have a 9-game win streak, are .500, and doing this in the best division MLB has to offer. They too are just 2 GB of 3rd Wild Card spot and slumping Blue Jays. But they are also .5 GB the Mariners who have themselves won 8 straight.
Can we please end the Ohtani MVP talk? I get - and appreciate the hell out of the fact he is so talented in ways we've never seen - but his team SUCKS. They are 12 games under .500, so how exactly can he be considered valuable?

I think I might have posted the “tungsten arm” tweet back when Ohtani had that 8-RBI game and the Angels lost.
Crap on him all you want, he is still having the most amazing season of a player since Ohtani’s season last year.
