true that. but the reason for masks is primarily to protect others, not the wearer - especially those over 60. for your plan to work, the teams would have to isolate in a bubble with no fans. with time i could name you a million americans who have suffered serious consequences from getting too close to someone with covid: death.
Are you suggesting that fans are at risk from getting Covid from players with Covid? I highly doubt that. The much higher risk is getting it from the other fans.
Further, if you are in a high risk category - don’t go.
No worries, however, as there is no way NBA will end protocols etc.
