This fencing obviously isn’t sufficient to stop a determined invader, but it’s a first step. And Finland may need to expand its efforts. I wouldn’t call any of this an existential threat to Russia, but it can’t be fun to have a bunch of neighbors do this.
I also wonder whether Ukraine might do this to Russia in Transnistria. Europe should consider whether it makes sense to make Russian exclaves untenable experiments.

Strangely enough, Transnistria now trades with the EU more than it does with Russia. Lots of strange things happen in this part of the world it seems.
