Gaslighting - just the off court extraneous snark/chatter about "breaking the code". Kerr said Dillion Brooks broke the code; the code being don't chase someone from behind on an early layup and club them on the head to send a message, when he in fact was sent to the hospital. Then Ja Morant tweeting and deleting "broke the code" about Poole's Herculean strength to destroy a knee with one swipe of a bandaged hand in a double team trap where there was indeed a foul called, but on Wiggins. Memphis' coach doubled-down saying they were sure that Poole yanking on the knee is what precipitated the injury (BS) and how curious they would be to see what the League would do about it. They tried to get Poole suspended for trapping Morant, because, why not try. Then some Memphis weatherman follows up with a racist tweet about Draymond Green.

Three of the four series are tied 2-2; only the Warriors have a 3-1 advantage and it's not that difficult to imagine them in a 1-3 hole either. It's good that it's not just Lakers-Celtics and window dressing or even Warrior-LeBron of recent vintage.
The Warriors are capable of running just about anyone out of the gym on a given night, but also capable of playing careless basketball. The specter of COVID waiting to wipe out half a team still sits out there. Kerr was wearing a mask recently. You just have to hope that doesn't spread.
