So anyway, I heard Tristan Beck was promoted to Sacramento, is tearing it up, and could be making his Giants debut soon.

This means the Giants have Hjelle and Beck as possible rookie starters ready to debut this year.

Beck at Richmond - 14 innings pitched, 10 hits, 7 walks and 19 K’s.  2.57 ERA.

He has not pitched for the River Cats yet.

Based on the numbers, he has good stuff.  He just needs to figure out how to throw the ball consistently in the strike zone.
