I'm not speculating about what will or won't happen, just what has happened and the choices, at a very high level. And while I agree Putin has lost his mind - even accounting for the fact his perspective is different than mine - there is reason to believe Putin doesn't have the support needed to start a strategic nuclear war. Still, I'm not ruling out him being able to convince the inner circle to start such a war either. Still has to be considered a possibility, no matter how remote.
