It's before school  starts, so our student participating will be down, but hopefully the football bug is caught on enough that students will show up early just to got to this game.

At the SJSU game it seemed to me that the student section looked pretty full.  I wondered about that, but perhaps they were mostly graduate students, who do constitute almost half of the student body and who tend to be around year round. 

Overall, there were 40,577 at the game with stadium capacity being 50k.  I would guess that Duke might be less, given that they will bring a lot fewer fans than SJSU.  Even if the Spoiled Children bring as many fans as SJSU and also buy and fill all the empty seats, then the ratio would be at worst ~ 35k Stanford to 15k Spoiled Children.
