Yes, there really are days when a single good player having a ridiculously good day can beat the other team whatever talent it might have.  Feister certainly comes to mind, but so too does our own McPhee against Oregon, and I remember well Alexis Gray-Lawson--scoring a career high 37 points to beat us in 2009.  There are those days that someone just "goes off" and becomes unstoppable.  If these players could play in that same zone every game, they would be superstars, but they can't, and so they aren't.  But they are talented enough to play like a superstar every so often, and you wonder if you could only bottle it and pour it out at will.

We were at that game against Oregon when McPhee went off -- sitting in the stands at Matt Knight (ugh, hate that floor), and Oregon fans kept saying "WHO IS that!"  Despite the fact that she was known to be good, no one expected her to be THAT good. She couldn't miss, even with her "how did that go in" shots.
