There are very few transfer opening available each year and even if admissions gave significant preference to football players (good luck with that) there can't be many admitted. Getting into graduate school at Stanford isn't easy either but there are many, many more available slots each year. Grad transfers will always have better odds. I am sure that Shaw will take undergrad transfers, but there simply aren't going to be lots of them.
