and I know three people so far who have been unable to get the CA vac certificates (including one of my ticketholders), they have had numerous email exchanges and have submitted photos of their vaccination cards but so far no certificate, and the problem has been going on for my ticketholder for seven weeks.

This program, like many of the State programs of late, has had serious performance issues. The State has unfortunately done less than one would expect to resolve the issues. It wouldn't work for everybody, but anybody who doesn't have to stand in the tent line would shorten the lines for those who do have to do so.

I hadn't done it until now and it literally took me less than two minutes.  They had a warning at the top that they were experiencing delays in sending the text with the link to the QR code, but mine came almost instantaneously.  So, if you haven't done it yet, it is worth a shot ;-), you might get lucky like I did.
