I think it's going to be a pain to get the wristband but am happy to do it if that means all the people in the stadium will be vaccinated. The game is outdoors but, notwithstanding the jokes about our attendance, there are strangers sitting right next to me, in front and behind me for three to four hours. That is a lot of close contact. I wear my mask during Giants games even though it is outdoors because there is no way to know who the high shedding super spreaders are. Also, this matches the University's approach to vaccination on campus and we have to remember that not every campus decision is made with the primary focus on football/sports attendance. We are at Stanford, not SC or ND. Also, Stanford's approach might be overkill but, based on the low level of outbreaks on campus, it clearly works at limiting transmission of the virus. Will be attending my first indoor women's volleyball match tonight and hope that the attestation method means it is a vaccinated group around me in my seats. I will feel better at the next one when it will have to be verified.
Cheers,
