Dodgers down by 2.5 games?  You must have heard wrong, I think I read right here that the Giants needed to watch the second playoff spot because there was no way they could finish ahead of the Padres or Dodgers.

I’m sure I said that earlier in the year.  This has been an incredible run.  Completely unexpected. The over/under was, I believe 74.  They may beat that by 30 games…..

I will neither confirm or deny the culprit ... But whoever it was they weren't alone.  Most here expected the wheels to fall off in April and May.

Credit goes to Phogge for predicting the Padres would fall apart - that was a great early call.

Hell, I never thought the wheels were ever on!  (Wasn't the Giants' worst L of the season the opener?).  Thus, I cop to being in that group from the jump.  

As a Giants fan, I can't recall a more enjoyable regular season than this one.  

P.S.   As stated previously, I'm now rooting for one thing fervently:  that this team get to play a real playoff series (as opposed to the one-and-done "post-season").  That's not too much to ask . . . is it?
