Right, Cory Snyder.  Big hitter when he came up for Cleveland, struck out a lot.  Average went down, split 1991 with the White Sox and Toronto, then went to SF for 1992.  Technically a utility player, had 142 more ABs than the "everyday" left fielder.  Hit .269, OPS .755.  Then, he went to the Dodgers and led the NL in strikeouts.

Always thought it was funny that Duke Snider was part of a group of elite, HoF level hitters that came from California and had to ply their trade in  the East (Williams, DiMaggio, Snider, Gwynn, Bonds, Murray, Heilmann, O'Doul) and slightly less elite, but still amazing hitters (Frank Robinson, Nettles, Evans, McGwire, Cronin, Hafey, Chance, Lombardi, Carter, Mize).
